I'm interested in creating a community gaming site thats focus on creating user generated strategy guides, reviews, picture uploads - a social network for gamers basically.
I want the functions to allow users to create, edit and upload contents to the site in the same way www.comicvine.com does for comicbooks.
I don't want thing to be complex like mediawiki's syntax to create contents. wysiwyg feature would be great.
I see deki-wiki as the best option at the moment but I'm unsure if It'll be ideal as a content management system.
Is there a all in one solution for this or will i be looking at intergrating i.e. joomla+deki+phpforum?
By the way, Drupal has modules for a wiki. has anyone used it before? Drupal seems to be very powerful but I'm not an expert.
thanks for the responses.

Hello,
SamePage is built on top of a robust CMS platform and in one sense it combines the power of this platform with the engaging aspects of a lively Web 2.0 style front-end. This front includes a versatile WYSIWYG editor that makes it extremely easy to create, edit and disseminate content.
Best regards,
SamePage team

definitely give Deki Wiki a shot especially since you can integrate with Joomla, Drupal, and other forum software. Also it is flexible for skinning as can be seen by our website: www.mindtouch.com which is powered by Deki Wiki.
Deki Wiki is used by a lot of people as a CMS because of its robust API that allows you to integrate and easily manage content.

What an interesting way to get people interested in reading! Book trailers are like movie trailers, but for books! You can find them all over the internet now, but here is a site that's featuring them on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/booktrailers![]()

You can take a look at Grismar's EVE wiki, a popular community-run wiki for EVE Online powered by WikkaWiki.
