Hello!

I wish to use MediaWiki with Oracle database. I wish it much. I downloaded engine and unpacked it.

1. At first, there is an oracle DDL script in directory "\maintenance\ora". It creates database's structure.
2. Furthermore I found file "\includes\DatabaseOracle.php".
3. Then I've read history of versions...

1) changes since 1.5
* Oracle support
2) = Bugfixes since 1.9 == 
* Unmaintained Oracle support files have been removed.=

Look like that all is ok but...

3) == Bugfixes since 1.10 ==
* (bug 10104) Fixed Database::getLag() for PostgreSQL and Oracle

So, I finally confused. Does Oracle really not support? Or I may install version 1.6 and tune it for work with Oracle database. Then I may upgrade it by patches (1.6 -> 1.7, ..., 1.11 -> 1.12) to latest version. Is it only my dreams?
