I had a wiki from Editme that I set up about a year ago. The site expired and I asked Editme whether it was still possible to retrieve the site. The answer was yes, for a fee of $ 120.

I was a bit surprised as it is a wiki that involves paid monthly fees already and there are plenty of free wiki's available.

My question:

Is this common practice among other wiki sites to charge a relatively high fee for retrieval from cold storage or just opportunism, knowing well that one would prefer not to set up a wiki from scratch?
