Google Sites up and running for review

My first post as new member of forum. Couldn't clearly determine Forum-Folder appropriate for this note. Please move if there is a better location.

As you know Google Sites is up and running after the purchase of JotSpot in October 2006.  Launch date of Google Sites in 2008?? (can probably find out Month!)

I have made a test Wiki with Google Sites and have both favorable and critical findings. Note that Google Sites does not (anywhere that I have seen) refer to itself as a "wiki"... but as far as can be observed... it's a "wiki" and seems to me should now be in your WikiMatrix.  It  must be intentional by Google to omit the "W" word for some reason!

Is there a grid for the feature assessments that I can contribute to for Google Sites?  I am not experienced with Wikis but am in the process of evaluating for clients and came to your site that has just a great, easy-to-follow elimination and comparison process... congratulations.  I really like the expert engine sequence of questions and pie-chart display of the decreasing appropriate Wikis and the compare output.  GREAT!  I will utilize your compare info in my reviews but wondered if I could also put some findings in on Google Sites.  I saw there was an inquiry on it recently.

Will you insert Google Sites and invite me to collaborate in the scoring?  I will be using some of your other feature assessments comparing to my own reviews and might have some supplemental informatin for those also.  WetPaint, PBWiki, ClearWiki, SocialText, CentralDesktop... and perhaps some suggested by WikiMatrix.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you on this inquiry. Sorry all this in one big comment, but I just didn't know where to submit this!!

Re: Google Sites up and running for review

Hi, entries at WikiMatrix need to be updated regularly and should be maintained by someone who is very familiar with the software in question. Usually its the developer or the marketing team of the project.

As explained at http://www.wikimatrix.org/wiki/become_a_maintainer, we recommend to contact the creator of the software and ask him to get his product listed here. In that case you'd probably need to contact Google.

Careful: I'm the lead developer of WikiMatrix and DokuWiki so my posts may be biased ;-)
