Yes, it's a year since the first welcome message. We grew from a handful of Wikis to the impressive >70 list we have now - pretty good so far

And because birthdays are for presents, we have a few for you.

1. We moved WikiMatrix to a new and more powerful server with a bettter net connection. This should be notable in some speed up especially when a lot of users are online (I won't promise we can survive a slashdotting but feel free to try )

2. We finally added the long promised search. Now you can search for Wikis matching exactly your needs. We have some more ideas for the search but I guess they'll have to wait (we're still pretty busy with customer projects).

3. For all the Wiki researchers who like to access the data stored in the Matrix we created a simple XML API.
