Hi everyone!
I hope you can help me out, since I can't find exactly what I need in the big pool of available Wiki software.
I've been asked by my company to look into the possibilities of setting up a wiki with the knowledge of all our employees (which they can add and edit ofcourse) but that also incorporates a knowledge level management system for the knowledge our employees have.
To make it a bit more concrete (and understandable, lol):
We want to setup up a company wiki with information like (for example) this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statics
But we want to incorporate a system that lets you see who in our company has knowledge about the subject (or any other subject for that matter) and to what degree, somewhat like this software does:
http://www.guruscan.nl/index.php?__lang__=en
(More information on what is does is here and here.)
(If the pages turn up in Dutch, there's a small flag at the bottom of the page to switch them to English.)
Does anyone know of a wiki that can do this or maybe some other software that offers both possibilities?
Thank you in advance!
Regards,
Ronald.

What I see:
* A wiki page for each person (who they are, etc)
* A wiki page for each topic/project/subject/etc.
* Backlinks (so you can see "what links here", and thus, it's related).
* A search engine (because people will need to discover)
Later and if you have enough data/volume/participation, you could also have
* Votes/favorites to improve search results
* Tags to improve related topics
* A blog per team/dept
* A forum for people to ask "I don't know what I don't know" questions
* Semantic links (instead of just backlinks)
Most wiki engines (especially the enterprise ones) will have features to address these needs. Here are doc pages to the one I am the most familiar with:
* http://doc.tiki.org/Wiki
* http://doc.tiki.org/Backlinks
* http://doc.tiki.org/Tags
* http://doc.tiki.org/Search
* http://doc.tiki.org/Blog
