WikiMatrix / what happens when your Wiki goes down?

Hi
I started a wiki on intodit.com
http://weirdipedia.intodit.com/
My friends and myself put a great deal of effort and time into the content of the wiki.
Then without any warning, intodit seems down - no message was given out, I cannot find any news on the internet about it has just....gone!
You can imagine how frustrating and annoying this is.

So I have two questions that i hope you good people can answer for me, or at least point me in the right direction.....

First, does anyone know what is happening with intodit,com?
second, does anyone know of any way I can regain my content from the wiki?

hope you can help - the gun is at my head!

Sorry to hear that.

I checked Google cache and http://www.archive.org/web/web.php and didn't find your site.

You could do a whois search and try to find a phone number or email.

It's best to use a technology that you can self-host even if you choose to let someone else host it. You can then easily keep backups and restart somewhere else...

Thanks for the reply - a good idea searching google cache - I wish I had thought of this earlier.
This needs to go down as a cautionary tale for others who have spent weeks/months on a wiki, just to see it disappear overnight!
