We just added a few statistics about the number of comparisons and which Wikis were compared with which ones most. We're not yet sure how useful this is and what one can learn from these. Our Idea was that similar engines will be compared with each other more than engines radically different. However currently it looks more like anyone loves to click checkboxes and to see huge tables ![]()
The stats are updated every hour. And only data of the last 30 days is used. Due to changes to the tracking mechanism, the number of detail views was reset.
If you have ideas or comments how the stats could be improved, we'd love to hear from you.

My only comment is that such statistics, especially if displayed on the homepage, are likely to produce well known rich-get-richer dynamics ![]()
Similarly, displaying mostly-compared-with links for each engine is likely to induce the new user to believe that these engines are the most similar in features or target to the original engine, and hence to give them priority over other engines when comparing feature lists.
I'm not against statistics, I just would like people to be aware of the predictable consequences of their particular use in a comparison table.
