Now I had the idea to use MoinMoin because it seems easy, flatfile and Python is cool

Do you think I can realize such information bits with macros?
For example putting a macro

<<info(provides,vitamin E)>>

which would collect and show all things providing vitamin E. The information would be stored somewhere else.

Are macros written in Python? Where do I find a good tutorial?
