WikiMatrix / [SOLVED] Frequent downtime

Is anybody else using Netcipia? I set up a wiki with them a couple of days ago, but now I wonder if this was a royal waste of time. The site was down all of last morning, and today it's down again. I realize it's only beta, but that's pretty flaky even for a beta. You can't really ask people to collaborate with you when they cannot get to the information.

Does anybody have similar experiences with them, or is this just a temporary problem? I'd hate to have to do all of the work over again on another site.

Hi, I'm also using Netcipia and it has been down for over a day.
Is anyone aware of the problem?

Netcipia's service is simply too unreliable. I bit the bullet and moved my wiki over to PBwiki. Although I had to do all the work over again, I'm really glad I did so. Their site has never been down, and it turns out that they have a MUCH nicer interface. Their new wysiwyg editor really rocks!

Netcipia's down again. I've been using it for a school project since January and it's been very stable when I wanted to use it. Until about two weeks ago. It started with some really strange whigginess, and now it's down completely. I sent an email two weeks ago reporting the strange behavior. Previously I got responses to support emails fairly quickly, and they were pretty helpful. But my email got bounced back to me two weeks ago. Is Netcipia still around or have they disappeared?

Yes, we had some important servers problems in April, they were mentionned in our blog, but since end of April, we migrated to a reliable hosting service, and it is now resolved.

And Netcipia is alive ! And for a long time :-) Developping wonderful features you'll see this summer ;-) Don't worry... And thank you for your support.

To close definitively this chapter, our uptime is currently of 99,96%. This problems of downtime occuring few months ago are now behind us, we have completely changed our infrastructure and we moved also to a new hosting company. And with the new version launched this summer, we have now a fully reliable and powerful wiki/blog platform, totally free. Try it :-)
