---++ CHANGES, UPGRADE AND BETA TESTING
TWiki 4.3 (code named Georgetown) has these enhancements:
* Security enhancements (especially on XSS exploits)
* Bundling additional plugins and skin to strengthen TWiki
as an enterprise collaboration platform
* Usability enhancements
* Many bug fixes
The release notes and TWiki history are not ready yet,
but the TWiki software is. This release is based on the
stable 4.2.4 release, so we expect fewer defects than
we had in the past. Nevertheless, we do NOT recommend
to use this RC version in a production environment.
You can install and run the RC in parallel with your
current installation by sym-linking the non-default webs
(data AND pub dir) - or maybe a small selection - and ask
your power users to try it out.
To upgrade from an earlier version follow the instructions at
http://develop.twiki.org/~twiki4/cgi-bi … gradeGuide
We invite you get involved in the Beta testing process,
please visit and contribute at
