moinmoin:scripting
One of the strengths of moin is its modularity and its plugin system.
Using Python (an easy to learn, clean and powerful programing language) you can write your own plugins.
But better search the Market pages on the MoinMoin wiki site before, maybe someone else already has implemented what you need.
Currently supported plugin types:
- themes (python code for the dynamic stuff, CSS and images for the static part)
- macros (taking few parameters to generate content output)
- parsers (taking few parameters and some lines of text to generate content output)
- formatters (support new content output formats)
- actions (generating a complete output page)
- xmlrpc functions (remote procedure call server functions)
