Content Include Feature

This feature allows a Wiki editor to include other pages or parts of it into the current page by using a special include syntax. This is a nice way to create overview pages.

It is especially useful for giving different users different permissions for different parts of a prominent page using ACL (Access Control Lists). A prominent example is the Wikipedia main page. Each block you can see is a different include with different access controls.

What this feature is not about:

• it is completely unrelated to any webserver technologies like Server Side Includes (SSI) except for the same concept (being able to include content from one page into another page). This is a feature of the Wiki engine, not the webserver.
• it is also not about including Wiki pages into other services or websites, it's only about includes between pages inside the wiki
