TWiki links acronyms of three or more upper case letters automatically in the same web (or name space).
TWiki has multiple webs. It is possible to create a “Glossary” web that contains abbreviations and other word definitions. Install the FindElsewherePlugin to automatically link words in any web to glossary entries.
See details on FindElsewherePlugin at http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/FindElsewherePlugin
As of 2006-02-17, DokuWiki, PmWiki, TikiWiki, TWiki and Wiclear are reported to have abbreviation capabilities. Compare DokuWiki, TikiWiki and TWiki.
