DokuWiki is a standards compliant, simple to use Wiki, mainly aimed at creating documentation of any kind. It is targeted at developer teams, workgroups and small companies. It has a simple but powerful syntax which makes sure the datafiles remain readable outside the Wiki and eases the creation of structured texts. All data is stored in plain text files - no database is required.

Here's a relativly simple page with some images. The Table of Contents on right side is created automatically from the different headlines.

Edit View

The same page in edit mode. The toolbar above the textarea gives simple access to most of the usual textformattings.

The media manager

The media manager allows to manage and upload images, office documents or other media files. Old revisions of these media files can be access here, too.

Change Differences

Here's an example of reviewing a page change. It allows for easy review and revert of unwanted changes.
