» Midgard Wiki DocumentationMidgard Wiki Details

Midgard's wiki component, plugs in seamlessly to sites powered by Midgard CMS, meaning that it will appear in the navigation in the same way as normal content areas, and will be served by the regular access controls and indexing tools.

The wiki also uses the shared metadata and versioning services in Midgard, keeping the full audit trail of changes. User permissions may be given using the regular Midgard group management.

Being part of Midgard CMS also means that the page templates, and even the editable fields of the wiki can be customized. For example, different types of wiki pages can have additional structured text input, checkbox or selection list fields. WYSIWYG HTML editing may be used instead of the default Markdown formatter if desired.
